Match starts immediately after the conventional High Power match (Approximately 2:00 PM)

Registration: Please email the match director if you plan to attend the match. Because this is an afternoon match, there will be a limit of 2 relays or about 24 competitors.

Note: Because this is an International Benchrest Shooters (IBS) Affiliated match, all competitors in Varmint for Score and Hunter classes must be IBS members. Factory class competitors are not required to have IBS membership. IBS membership is $45/year. Memberships can be obtained from the IBS website or at an IBS match.

Course of Fire:

Range is 300 yards using official IBS target. Each match includes 6 targets containing 5 record bulls and one sighter bull each. The first target is a warm-up target. The next 5 targets are for record. Unlimited shots may be fired at the sighter bull. One shot is fired at each record bull. Record bulls are scored and totaled during the match. Maximum possible score is 250-25X.

Additional Information:

All shots are fired from the bench using front and rear rests. Front rest may be mechanical. Rear rests are "sand bag" type, not mechanical adjustable. All shots must be single loaded. You will need 65 to 100 rounds of ammunition for the match. All competitors must follow all IBS and Cavalier safety rules.  A safety briefing is given at the beginning of the match.  Range commands are given before the start of each relay.  Bolts may not be in rifles until instructed to do so at the beginning of each relay. Bolts must be removed from the rifle at the end of each relay.
