The main lake at Cavalier has recently been stocked with fingerling fish.  This is the first step in establishing a great fishery in the lake.  As part of the efforts to insure a successful stocking, we are asking members and guest to follow the following rules:

Do not place any fish from outside into the lake.  Doing so will upset the balance of the fishery being established.  Placing mature fish in the lake with the fingerling stocking will have an adverse effect on the populations the club is attempting to establish.

If you wish to fish, please do so in the upper pond (the pond to the right as you enter the range).  There is currently a good population of catchable size fish in this pond and you are encourage to fish the pond.

Remember that club members and guest must have a valid state of Virginia fishing license in order to fish the waters on the property.
